Here is a silly question....

I have a customer that has a Meridian 1 and 2 MICS at 3 different sites. The Meridian 1 has Symposium Call Center as well.

1.) Can the Meridian 1 be programmed / maintained remotely?
2.) What is needed, if anything, to create this enviroment?
3.) Who wants to help me maintain it? :)

thanks, this site rocks!

1.) Can the Meridian 1 be programmed / maintained remotely? YES
2.) What is needed, if anything, to create this enviroment? Almost every PBX has SEB for remote access.

Thank you, thats a relief to know :)

Can someone point me in the direction of a vendor who can help program these things remotely? Also, does anyone know of a place to figure out monthly maintenance program cost estimates?

If you're looking for someone to maintain it, you might want someone local. Send me an email and I can try to help you. I don't want to conduct commercial business in the forums, and I work for a Nortel vendor so I think this is best to do via email.

My email is AWalworth AT Sharpcomm DOT net.

I apologize for the plug, I'm trying to walk the fine line between conducting business in the forums and trying to help you out. If you're not in our service area, I'll help you locate a vendor in your area.

Your best bet may be to contact Nortel directly and ask for a list of Nortel certified vendors in your area.
Once you find a list of vendors, sit down with them and come up with an SLA plan, what engineering avenues they offer etc.
