very few prompts or commands are the same, the meridian depends on you knowing the older platforms before you really can address the fields in the newer screens. your background will be a big plus but i would get the soft manuals and do some stare and compare, before i made major changes, simple day to day are easy enough to work through but the manuals could be much better...just my 2 cents
