Meridain Auth codes and confernecing

We are using Meridan 1.

We currently require auth codes to dial a Long Distance Number. The issue is that when a conference call is done from our phones it allows a LD # to be dialed without requiring an auth code. However when trying to track those calls to bill to the user the first Autch code shows up but the conferenced call does not have an authcode on it. Is there a way to require an Authcode to be needed when dialing a Long Distance Number via a conference call. We are using Notrel 3904 Phones (well most of them are.)

make sure all conferees are ctd, i just test this on my phone and it requires a auth code of all members are or the correct ncos to require a auth code. you can lst all stations in each ncos in load 81

Ok all NCOS is correct for the TNs. How do i check the ctd and where would it be set for conferencees. Right now when i make a conference call the first # I call requires an auth code but each additional number I dial does not... Is that different then what you can do? I want it to require an Auth code for any LD call whether it is a dial after hitting conference button or before. Any ideas?

no the auth code changes your ncos (in my case) from 3 to 4, the change is in effect until the original call is released. i have never been asked to find a way around that one but it will cause questions on your tracking software. i think i would write a line that adds the last used fac code when ld calls are disconnected via conf. i know nortel is not going to write a patch for a workaround.. been done that road. 1500 to write a patch, they sold me broke software in the 1st place. sure glad i bought bunches of their stock
