Hi all,
one of the schools i manage they were setup with two domains, one for the staff and another for the students, both ar 2003 domains.
These are completely seperate domains, on different machines, even kept in different parts of the school.( don't ask why cause i don't know) anyway, we want to make them all one domain or at least make them all in the same forrest.
is this possiable, can i make the student domain a child domain of the staff domain without losing anything?
do i just dcpromo the student domain and dcpromo it again to make it a child of the staff?
or am i barking up the wrong tree.
