merging records in Word

Okay - 72 different documents- each a different form with different styles and protected form fields. Or rather - after merging they will be protected form fields. Documents need to be merged into one big - 72 page document. When one is pasted onto another something happens to the syles and fonts are changed on the second page. Help me Please !!!

Unprotect.
Select field.
Check style.
I usually find that the style for the formfield has become something stupid like Heading 1. Alternatively, you've got two templates going on. If you've got a Word data source, open it, then Tools-Templates and Addins and set the same template for the data source that you're using for the mail merge main doc.
