Merging Domains

I'm currently merging domains, both domains have user accounts when I go to merge the domains will they sync
all the data or do I need to recreate user accounts
and groups all over again?

Merging can not be done, since NT security is set on both domains. But, you can setup a TRUST between domains, and that way you can have both domains' users login to the other domain with just one login. The Trust must be setup on both domains separatly with passwords. If done correctly, it will say "successful!"
