I tried using a hyperlink in an Access form to open a Word doc with Access merge feilds. It works but it is very very slow. It takes about 1 to 2 minutes for Word to open and for the doc to merge with the Access data. This is on an Athlon 800 with 512 megs. I am afraid my users on slower machines will be unable to use this hyperlink method. Any other ways which may be faster?
