Merge two PST files 1

I am wondering if it is possible to merge two PST files. While users are using Outlook, they periodically archive mails to an archive file. When they leave I use exmerge to export their mailboxes to a PST file. I was wondering if it was possible to merge this exmerge file with the corresponding archive file so that I can then backup the total email for an employee to backup tape.

That's way too much work Pat. Did you try clicking "help" on the menu bar in Outlook?

Apologies - I took the lazy option - up to my eyes in work and thought it was the quickest way to getting the solution to one of my problems. Unfortnately being a one-man IT department has its downsides.

I didn't realise it was going to be that straightforward.
