Merge two flash files.

I am beginner with flash. I modified a flash file. Now I found another flash file, with some cool layers that I would like to use in my own file.
I copied the frames, and inserted them into a new layer, but now everything is off, and I can't figure out where to paste the frames.
How could I do that. How could assist me?
Please let me know. Thank you.

did you make both these flash or got it from somebody else?

The reason im asking is because some flash guys have scripts in them which makes integration with other flash quite difficult.

post a link to both fla so that we can take a look at what you are trying to do. your description is valid but there are lots of factors to this, scripts or something else.
