I'm some-what stuck when it comes to the merging of two Active Directory Domains.

Now, I have one that is our old domain and one that is our new domain, is there a way to merge the old domain into the new..allowing us to finally get rid of the old box?

I'm not entirely sure if the AD Migration tool could do that or not..

How many users?

You can use ADMT to bring your users over to the new domain, but depending upon how many there are it may just be simpler to create them on the new domain.

I would create a trust between the domains and use ADMT.

With ADMT you can move both the user objects (and passwords) and the computers over to the new domain. Get your users logging into the new domain and you could retire the old domain.

I hope you find this post helpful.
