Merge Running Slow

I'm running 6.61 SP2a on NT platform. Merges run at about 64m/m. Merges run over 400m/m on an identical server/tape drive. Anything I can try before I initialize the database? Thanks.

We have had the same problem with ASO7.0 on Windows NT. The problem was resolved when we upgraded the firmware of the tape device. Not only the merge was faster, the backup and restore also. Good luck!

Thanks. We have the latest firmware on both tape drives. The fix, here, was to initialize the database. The merge is running faster now on this server than the other! That database really drags things down.
