Merge reports in Cognos 8.4

Hi

I am having a requirement where i need merge 2 reports.

The two reports are created with same package using report studio (cognos 8.4).

You can copy the content definition from one report into the other provided you use a certain sequence:

1. Make sure that all queries in the 2 reports have a distinct names (no overlap)
2. Copy queries across.
3. Do you need to merge prompt pages? Then add functionality of the to be copied report in the other as LAST step.
4. Copy variables from report to report.
5. Copy report pages (after making sure that names are distinct)
