I'm running 2 SQL Server 7.0 servers doing Merge Replication. The idea really is to have mirrored servers in case one crashes
The "live" server is currently the subscriber. The "backup" server is running as publisher and distributor, basically because we wanted it to be doing most of the work.
The problem is that the live server is being updated constantly and really needs to be authoritative source on which data is correct or not. So my question is, can I make the Subscribe the conflict resolver? Or should I make the live server the publisher and distributor?
