Hello,

I am tasked with setting-up merge replciaiton between two SQL 2000 servers. Everything seems to go fine until I get a timeout error on the snapshot agent.

I tried to increase the timeout value by going to the Agent Profile and creating a new profile with an extended query time. However, I am not sure what steps to take next. A warning message tells me that I will have to stop and restart replication in order for teh new profile to take affect. That's where I stop......

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thx,

Q.

All you have to do at that point, is to stop and restart all the replication agents which are currently running.
