Merge replication conflicts

Hello,

I have merge replication setup using pull subscription. All tables are set with not for replication option. Now if there is a conflict which is not resolved at all does it resolve on its own after sometime. Because we had rows in conflict which were not resolved. Now the data is missing from both database and also not in conflict viewer. What could be the problem?
