Merge MM database

media file index? What is this?
If you have a new backup server, wouldn't the index and media databases by empty? If so, you can recover the bootstrap, which will recover the res and mm directories. You can also copy over the index directory.
If you want to merge two existing NetWorker servers, then you can: 1) scan in a tape from the old server that has the backup of the indexes, 2) merge client file indexes in NetWorker 6.x by just using nsrck -L7 <client_name>.
Ther is no ability to merge a media database. If you need the media database information from the old server, then you will have to scan in the old tapes on the new server.
