Hello guys..
I have requested a troubleshooting license to add some trial licenses...however PLDS system generated an additional xml license file instead of on file that contains all the licenses.
When I import one file it lists the old licences and when I import the second file it only shows the trial licenes and deletes the old licenes.
How can I merge the 2 license files together?

IP Office systems expect all the licenses in one file. You needed to request a new version of your existing license file with the new licenses added.

You can't edit or modify the files yourself. They contain checksum values which will invalidate the whole file if it is edited.

Back to PLDS.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Make sure you're entering the correct Host ID, generally speaking, it would be the one that licenses alreayd exist on. If you create a new Host ID when entering the troubleshooting licenses, this is where you would probably run into the licenses overriding themself.

You can't have production and temp licenses on the same system, PLDS will not let it happen.

Your troubleshooting license needs to include all the licenses you already have PLUS the things you want to add. Then put that on eon the ystsem and remember to put the proper one back on before it expires.

Your business partner should be able to fix that and give you one .xml file with all licenses(non trial). You can't merge it yourself.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.
