merge data into power point?

To my knowledge, this feature is unavailable in a PowerPoint document.

Option is not built into ppt, but you can buy 3rd-party software to do it. If you've found a better solution let me know. I'm looking to do the same thing and this is the best I've found.

I was able to remove the text from the PPT document, save the image as a .jpg. Created a doc in MSWORD, inserted the image, placed my text over the image, added mail merge fields and it looks like it came from PPT!
All without the 3rd party software - Good Luck!
