Merge an OLE picture from Access 2000 to Word 2000

I'm trying to merge a report containing text and an OLE object (picture) from Access 2000 to Word 2000. The merge option is greyed out and the 'publish in Word' option only transports the text and not the picture.

Any suggestions?
