mercury32 probs with outlook seeing headers

we have installed mercury32 on a server. loads ok, works ok when outlook is started, but gives errors when you click send/receive. it says it can't downlaod the headers. weird thing is this is on the local machine. on other machines on the network & remote it works fine all the time.

Any ideas?

Also there now appears to be a general slowing down of tasks like printer spooling etc. all suggestions gratefully received
