Any one know if Mercator (now known as DataStage TX) is still available as a separate module? We don't run WebSphere nor have the desire to do so.

Why don't you have a desire to run websphere? It's still mercator with more power. Have you posted in the mercator forum?

DataStage TX is available, current version is 8.0. You have the Design Studio and several run time options: Command Server, Event Server (now known as EE - Extended Edition) and the DK - Design Kit, formerly the APIs, C and JAVA.

Also available is the Event Agent that allows the Event Server to work with Web sites for input and output.

The TX engine is probably the most powerful transformation engine on the market, could be one reason IBM bought it.
BTW, the full product name is IBM WebSphere DataStage TX.
