Merc 1.4.2 on Windows Server 2003 1

Anyone been able to get 1.4.2 running on Windows Server 2003?

We've had it running sucessfully for quite some time on Windows 2000, but now we get message 'Error 997: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress' when we attempt to start the service on Win 2003.

If it works, bet on the lottery. 1.4.2 was discontinued long before Windows 2003 was released. It is no longer supported, and is not (unless you have Sp7 or later) 100% Y2K compliant. Time to start thinking about upgrading.
Current version is 7.5.1 and is supported on Windows 2003.

You will have a lot of work upgrading, since so many type properties have been added and changed. There is a new feature for 7.5.x that you might like: The multi-process Event Server. This allows you to run each .msl in it's own process, using it's own .ini settings, etc. Makes for a more stable and easier to manage and debug environment.

More good stuff is in the works for future releases.
