Mer 1 Compatible Annunciator

Hi all, I know this topic has probably been covered previously, but I couldn't find any posts about it.

I'm looking for a number annunciator that will work with a Meridian 1 system. I want to be able to call it and tell me my number, and I want to be able to have it call me back. I know such a beast exists, as I used to use one oh so many years ago. I just can't remember the brand name or anything. It emulated a 2616 in the switch and just read off the digits.

I know about the whole Symposium scripting thing, but I need it to run in a non-Symposium environment, so that doesn't exactly help me.

The old VMX voicemail system used to have a feature whereas you would call a specific extension number that was pointed to the VMX system pilot number. When you called the specific extension, it would read back the extension number you were calling from. It would not call you back though, it just hung up on you. That was 80's stuff.

Maybe you could get your voicemail system to do the same with some finagling.

Well, I know exactly what I'm looking for now, but unfortunately the company has declared the product End of Life.

and then in 2001 the product was discontinued. Does anyone know of a similar product or have one (or more) that they want to sell? I've got people asking for these left and right now!
