How do I create a menu so when people open my database a menu comes up first?? I noticed that Microsoft has one on their sample northwind database.

There is a built-in wizard in Access (97 and 2000) to create a basic switchboard, which you can then modify to suit your needs. From the Menu bar choose TOOLS|ADD-INS|SWITCHBOARD MANAGER.
