I would like to know how to make drop down menus. Not so much as how to make a drop down menu but as more of how to make that rubber band effect. Link:

The one you cite is basically a standard drop down menu with a bit of nifty animation to give the 'rubber band' effect when it drops down; to get this effect try drawing a v. short box and shift the corners around and bulge the edges in / out to give the look of the menu starting to drop down, in your next frame move the box down a bit and move the edges accordingly - essentially a bit of traditional animation!

=)

p.s. If you are not sure how to do normal drop down menus there are, I am lead to believe, loads of tutorials around.

o, so I need to do a frame by frame animation.Darn.. I was hoping their was a way to do this with motion tweens.

You can do it with 'shape' tweening. Just add the first and last keyframe where you want it to start and to finish. Then all you have to do is add keyframes between these to get the effect you want. A bit like frame by frame but easier. (I think)LOL funkymonk B-)

hummmm.... u know what that might just work! :)

It should do, it's the way I've done it in the past. Nothing quite as adventurous as the example you gave but same idea. funkymonk B-)
