menu bar is gone??

my menu bar dissapeared in photopaint - corel 9
tried the refresh and a reinstall but it still isnt back.
all toolbars how up but the bar with file, edit, my x button - all else is gone. any help??

Go to Window > Toolbars > Standard. Be sure there is a check mark next to it. I assume by the refresh and reinstall you mean you held F8 while PhotoPaint was opening?

If you are using XP, try running it in Windows 98 Compatiblity Mode.

To do this, find the .exe file (not the shortcut), right click on it and go to properties. Go then to the Compatibility tab. Set it to Windows 98.

That worked for me
