Menu Bar and Toolbars in Word Disappeared

This is going to sound nuts, I admit.

I have an app written in Access VBA that sends data over to Word as a mail-merge. It calls one of 8 Word templates.

All the templates works perfectly except one. On this one, the Menu Bar and Toolbars are missing. I have not found a keystroke that has any effect. As it opens, it flickers and we can see the bars disapppearing.

There is nothing in code to tell this to occur. I have tried copying the info to a new template and naming it something new and it still happens.

Is the script telling it to go to Full Screen?
Other than that, it may need to explicitly set toolbars and menu bars to on...
I still think Full Screen is your issue, but I'm a hack at Word...

If it is FullScreenView, press the ESC button and it will go back to Page Layout View. If it isn't, nothing will happen.
