Hi,

Does anybody knows where is the slot for memory stickers located in the HP 4550?
And secondly kingston stickers are valid for that kind of printer?
You see I have a problem with a HP 4550.It prints ppt files very very slow and I think that I have to replace the memory stickers.
Any feedback for that woulb be most appreciated

Thanks

If the memory DIMMS were bad, you would probably allready have encountered several various 49.XXXX errors, but since you don`t mention this, I doubt those allready installed causes the slow printing. I would consider the driver choice and/or adding more memory to the printer depending on how big the printjobs actually are. Large complex graphics jobs or PDF documents along with most Adobe applications would print best using a postscript driver, while word documents and small scale jobs would print fine with a regular pcl driver. If the problems still seems to be around, the cause for this issue must be found elsewhere, perhaps in form of a firmware upgrade of the printer or the networkcard in it asuming one is installed.
