Could someone tell me if there is something that limits the amount of memory a process of group of process's use up? We have a vendor who is installing new software and after 8 of the same process's running he gets out of memory...Any thoughts Ideas or anything would be appreciated and helpful.

Have you checked the ulimits of the user owning the running processes?

There could be other things that could limit the process's memeory which is the WLM (Work Load Manager) if you are using it in your system!
