Hi Everyone, I am trying to find out if anyone else has encountered errors when adding memory to a Symposium Users pc? Is there a maximum memory size? We are having problems adding memory to Symposium desktop Users' pcs, they are currently at 512K. The error occurs after the memory has been added and the User tries to logon. The errors states it is out of memory. Once we remove the new memory the error goes away. Anyone have any information they can share? Thanks!!!

It is a bug in the Symposium client which was fixed in, I believe, SU12C. Best way to be sure you get it fixed is to load the following client patches in this order:

G15C
SU12C
G16C
G17C
G18C

It was fixed in SU10 I believe.

Thanks, Brewerdude and StuReeves for the quick response! Are these patches for Symposium 4.2 or 5.0? We are currently at 4.2 release.
Thanks!

Great! Do you know if these patches will "fix" the issue with loading new service packs for Windows XP on the desktop. Every time we try to load service packs on desktops for Symposium Users, we encounter problems with Symposium. Thanks!!!

There is an issue with the RTD's and XP SP2. In order for them to work, you'll need to add all of the ports and all of the Symposium executables into the firewall exclusion list. Patch G18 is supposed to do this for you, but didn't work for us.
