I've been experimenting with using some jsp pages on tomcat (with apache) to talk to an oracle server. I've noticed that after a few days the java thread on which tomcat is running grows from around 8megs in size to well over 300megs. Does anyone know if there is a memory leak in tomcat or the oracle JDBC drivers?

Try to use an other Java Version! I had the similar problem when
I were using JDK 1.2.2. Try it with JDK 1.3.

Hi,

I am also facing a similar problem where the memory utilization shoots up dramatically. So did the changing of the JDK version solve the issue?

Awaiting your reply.

Regards,
Venkat.
