Hello,

i have noticed that one of "my" servers suffers from memory leak. AvailMem degrades, while Pool Nonpages Bytes increases. I started to monitor the processes, but i could not determine any thing more specific as to what process it is, so i have started to use poolmon.

Poolmon is dumping every other minute the list of processes and the list is sorted by byte. It turns out that NTFS.sys only consumes, but never releases.

I've checked with support.microsoft.com and from my findings there, none of them applies to my environment (search for Event Id 2019).

Now, does anyone know if it is possible to extend the perfmon to also monitor hidden processes? And, has anyone experienced the same?

Cheers
