Memory leak in 8i when stopping and stopping Instance several times?

Does any know if starting or stopping an instance on an NT server multiple times can or will cause Oracle 8i to slowly consume all available virtual memory?

I checked in Oracle's support database and found no reference to memory leaks on 8i. Of course, this doesn't mean they don't exist - just that Oracle hasn't created an entry on it yet.
