I am using Access 2000. I am having a memory issue with my computer. When I open my VBA code for my database, I often experience an error of "Out of memory" when performing save operations or an error of "unable to create window" when I toggle between the VBA code and the design view of my reports and forms. The database is approx. 7.5 megs compressed and I have 180 megs RAM on my computer. My computer often develops other problems and is in need of being replaced, but I'm afraid that the issues I'm experiencing in Access are due to problems within the database. Can anyone tell me if there is any reason to run out of that much RAM when the database is only 7.5 megs or is this likely (hopefully) a computer issue? I plan on transferring the database to another computer, but that computer has over 300 megs of RAM, so I don't think that it would necessarily tell me what the issue is. Any suggestions or comfort would be much appreciated!

Depends upon what OS and its settings. I seem to remember something about page file size...

Look into the setting of your OS.

Good Luck

Any idea where I would find this? I'm using Windows 98. Thanks for the idea!!

I have avoided win98 like the plague but on other systems you can usually get to it by right clicking on my computer and selecting properties or manage.

Good Luck
