Memory Error

I just obtained this Elpida 256MB PC133 RAM module. I have 2 computers and installed it in both of them. One computer does not even recognize it. The other recognizes it, but it gives me the following error:

ERROR
0232: Extended RAM Failed at Offset: 1B

Then I get a screen stating that I have a file missing that prevents the computer to boot to windows.

I am running Windows XP Pro on both machines.

Any Ideas???

1. "Clear CMOS" and check your BIOS settings
2. Incompatible with your mobo
3. Bad module
