Hi. I am having a problem with IE6 on windows xp. Until last friday, everything worked fine, but now, whenever i open IE and type in ANY web address, i get the following error message.

The instructions at "0x009a1539" referenced memory at "0x009a1539". The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate program. Click on Cance to debug program.

regardless of what button i click, my computer freezes and i have to reboot.

Does anyone have any solution?

I would recommend trying this utility:

windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

Regards.

Erik

Check your RAM hasn't gone bad. Google for memtest86
