Memory cannot be "read"

Hey

I got error-message both in word and excel and due that all open word/excel documents disappeared of the screen. The message went something like this

"Command in position "0x302cf719" pointed to memory in adress "0x00a7b000". Memory cannot be "read". Close the program, press OK.

Does anyone know why and what can i do to stop that.
My translation might not be accurate, error message was not in english, sorry.

I think that you should clean up your PC:

When you do the scandisk, please make sure it says ZERO bytes in bad sectors.

Also, the NIMDA virus does the "out of memory" thing to your PC. Make sure it's clean by scanning it with the most recent virus dat files.
