Memory Bank Configuration

Hello

Is there a command, from which I can get the actual Memory-Bank Configuration, e.g. Slot 1 DIMM 256 MB, Slot 2 DIMM 512 MB?

I checked the items under /proc on my RedHat box and I didn't see anything other than /proc/meminfo, which only spoke to total RAM - not memory stick detail.

You'd probably have to get it from the CMOS, the hardware hides that from the OS. Perhaps ther is something in the LMSensors project to read that from the BIOS.
