Memory allocation

I have a Windows Server 2003 Ent. R2 with a 12Gb OS partition and 267Gb data partition on which I plan to install 4 virtual machines. I have 4Gb of RAM and was wondering how to distribute the memory. The Host OS will do nothing other than provide for the VMware Server(GSX).
How much should I allocate for the Host OS? I plan on letting VMWare server handle the RAM for the virtual machines.
