I'm building a memorial site for a friends child that recently passed away and I'm looking for code similar to a guestbook but would like the ability for the "guest" to upload photos with their entry. I need to get this up and running pretty quick so I'm looking for something I can upload, configure, and run.
Thanks for all suggestions!

It may not be suitable considering the circumstances but the easiest way for you to proceed would be to create a group on Flickr ( (or a similar photo sharing service). You can, if you wish, make these groups private.

Other than that you will need to tell us what server platform you are running on.

You may want to try Coppermine as a starting point. If you Google for it you will probably find alternatives.

My condolences to your friends.

i would recommend wordpress. does what you are asking out of the box.

posters need to be registered but you can enable them to register themselves and then delete posts that are bogus.

you can also configure it to scan an email box for incoming mail and use the mail and attachments as post items.

Thank you Foamcow! I'm running this on a LAMP server so I think Coppermine will work just fine.
We appreciate your condolences.
Thanks!
