Multiuser FoxPro 2.5 DOS application was running OK for many years (file server is Novell Netware).
Since one moment, memo fields in some of newly appended records seem to be empty but in fact they are not, because if I copy the DBF and FPT to local drive, they have the correct contents. It looks like problem in buffering of FPT files by FoxPro or Novell server.
After deleting several unnecessary files from the directory on the network drive, backing up the DBF and FPT files, deleting them and restoring again (so that they move to a different location on the network drive) the problem disappeared for some time as well as if I packed memo fields. The check of the network drive didn´t show any problems. Affected FPT file is quite small - 15 MB.
Does anybody have any idea?
Thanks.

I have used Novell Netware from versions 4 to 6.5 without any problems for Foxpro. Netware would not be the prime suspect.

The table contains not more than 30000 records and its size is about 6.5 MB. I think that FP limits are much bigger and furthermore the table and memo fields are ok when copied to local drive.
