Memo fields are being truncated at random

Good evening all,

I have a very simple query with many field (38 text fields and 5 memo fields). For some reason, the memo fields in some records get truncated and not at other times! I have read about access truncating memo fields, but this is simple. Everything is made to grow, there are no calculations or conditional formatting.

I tried to trouble shoot by bringing one memo field in a blank report - guess what it doesn't truncate. But as I increase the number of fields in the report, it ends up truncating fields.
