Hi.
Windows 2000 server with win xp stations. If I make a user a member of administrators, will that just make them local administrator for their station?
Thanks

If you meant make them members of administrators on their own workstation then yes they will be admins on just their PC.

You know what Jack Burton always says at a time like this...

Hi.
I just want them to be local admins of their own workstation, not the domain.
So giving them "administrators" is ok? or use the link you gave me?
Thanks for your help

NO!
You have two ways of doing this.
Manually do it on each client
Code:
In CMD
c:\> net localgroup Administrators domain\user /add
or use the restricted group option described in MORE than necessary detail in PCEs post above!

Hope this Helps.
