Member Server unable to login due to password mismatch against DC

Hi,

There's a member Server that was unable to login using domain admin accounts(with admin privileges). The Server object exists in AD record.

Member Server was disjoined from domain and rejoined to domain and subsequently, I can login using domain admin accounts.

Has anyone encountered this previously? What are the likely causes? Thanks.

Hi libroos, I think I've seen this is the past when the link (secure channel) to the domain controller has been broken somehow.
Have a look at this:

It talks about 2008 in the article but was definitely around in 2003 and maybe even 2000.
