One of my member servers disappeared from My Network Places after a reboot. I know that sometimes it takes several minutes for the browse list to be updated automatically, but its been over an hour. Additionally, I cannot connect using UNC format, nor can I connect to a previously mapped share. Any advice. Please help.

Have you checked your network connections. Can you ping it? Sounds like cabling. Glen A. Johnson

Yes. I can ping it. And I can also connect to it through terminal services and manage it. It's just unavailable otherwise.

If your not using hosts and lmhosts, start. Sometimes network traffic can confuse the os, which is why you can ping it but can't see it. Hardcoding in hosts and lmhosts sometimes helps. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson

Check to see if the server can connect to anything else via UNC in run. If not, it may be your TCP/IP settings or a problem with the NIC card. Check the Subnet mask and make sure that is correct. Also, check to make sure that it is still a member of the domain and it points to your Domain controller(s) for DNS and gateway.
