Member server cannot log onto the DC, server 2003

Cannot logon to the DC. Can't check the event log on Manage computers on the DC as access is denied. Get the following error.
'Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. Please try again later. If this message continues to appear, contact your system administrator for assistance. Any Suggestions?

Try to login with local Administrator and check network
configuration of your member server (DNS).

Are you able to perform a logon at the console of the DC,
or by RDP from any PC ? Look in AD for your member Server,
and the userd that cannot login.

When I go to the physical machine, I can logon, but I cannot rdp from any machine.

Like Victor said, check your Active Directory, is the DC still listed there?

Check the Event Log from the console for anything that can help.

Is RDP enabled on the server?

Any third party firewall software installed on the DC?

Can you ping the server from another computer?
Can the server ping anything else?

Check event log on the server.

Removing the server from the domain, re-joining the domain, rebooting will probably do the trick, assuming the server can still ping the DCs.

This, of course, does not shed any light on why it happened in the first place.
