I have a form (SCX) file that gives the cryptic error "Member Object Removed Cannot Save" whenever I attempt to save it. This form predated my employment, and by sheer luck I have not had to modify it up to this point. I have dozens of objects in the program, but I cannot seem to identify WHICH is the "removed" object, obviously some object that was changed, and removed and reinitiated in the other forms, but they forgot to do this one.

Is there any way to identify the object so I can either add it back in, or remove, it and add the modified class back in. Any tricks?

Frank,

Whenever I've seen this message, it has always indicated some sort of corruption in the SCX file. I've always had to reconstruct the form, either by removing one object at a time until it does save, or starting at the other end, that is, starting from scratch and adding one object at a time until I have the complete form.

I'm not saying that's necessarily the answer for you. Someone might well have a better solution.

Mike

Mike, that is exactly what I am trying to avoid, but thank you for the post. That is what I will do if I cannot get an answer.
