I am getting a mem alarm daily and it reaches the threshold then reboots every day. I know a reboot usually fixes the issue, but does anybody know a permanent fix.
Version 5.0 sp 2 pr 2
Thanks
Don

5.0 SP2 PR2 was released in October 2012

The best thing you can do is upgrade your controller to a recent version.

There have been many memory leak issues resolved over the years.

Thanks Techymitel. the problem now is to get them to purchase swa

The customer has a choice
[ul]
[li]Purchase SWA and upgrade to release 8 which may or may not resolve the issue. (you cant go to 9)[/li]
[li]Don't upgrade and live with issue until the system doesn't recover from daily reboot[/li]
[/ul]
Don't make it your problem. just give the customer the choice.
