MEM 4.01 wont go to mailbox

Big Lucy has still another problem. a SX200EL with MEM use to work fine then it quit forwading to the mailbox (hotel/motel package). Calls come in DID to the A/A are transfer to said ext only to go back to the A/A, if you dial the DID extension number same same. All the forwarding is correct I read in the e-docs that this happens with 4.0,4.01 and 4.02 and is fixed by 4.03. I'm thinking of replacing the MEM any suggestion?

BigLucy,

If you have a SX-200 EL then you can only be running LW19, or lower. The new revisions (1, 2, 3, 4 etc.) won't work for your system.

What is the Call Forwarding for that extension set too? Just because calls are going to the auto attendant doesn't mean the phone has Call Forward set.

can you call the extension from another extension and what happens?
If you want to eliminate the MEM forward to another extension and see if it goes.
If it turns out to be the MEM upgrade it to 4.03. I have lots of MEM and they are not doing this.
If they have split call forward maybe that might be the problem.

Thanks I've looked at that a thousand times and the problem was the COS for the VM ports they had CFW activated so it was just going in a big loop

Just because it has the ability to use Call Forwarding, doesn't mean it is. I would for sure take it out of the COS.

Sounds like it was the issue, as the CF will strip the integration digits (i.e. the extension that the call came from).
