I have an older server with a megaraid ultra pci scsi controller (428). It was running fine with win2000 until i tried to upgrade the memory and got a bad module. at first it was showing up like a drive problem so i reformatted drives and found that one of the four was indeed bad. I pulled it and created a new array with the 3 4 gb drives. But now when I try to install win2000 it reads the the arrary as something like 104gb. I tried changing to 3 raid 0 arrays, but even though it sees 2 drives as 4gb it still sees id 0 as 104 gb. When i try to creat the partition as 4gb it just reboots.
I downloaded megaraid drivers for 2000 (I did notice that the setup lists the controller as mraid3x) and have even tried using the nt 4 driver.
It is getting very frustrating. HELP.
